What to Know About Relocating to Morgan Hill

Morgan HillMorgan Hill is primarily an upscale leisure and residential community of Silicon Valley. Its status drives the real estate market as well as recreation, hospitality, and entertainment. It's the home of several tech companies, startups, and research and development firms. It's part of a quadrant that make up the Santa Clara Valley AVA, a protected American Viticultural Area designed specifically for wineries and vineyards in historic Santa Clara Valley. The wineries in Morgan Hill are noted for their popularity, beautiful rolling hills vineyards, orchards, and restaurants.

Many high-tech companies have American headquarters in Morgan Hill including the Japanese telecommunication company of Anritsu, Flextronics which is the world's second-largest electronics manufacturing service provider, TenCate Advanced Composites and Paramit Corporation.

Schools

As previously mentioned, all of Morgan Hill is part of the Morgan Hill Unified School District and serves part of San Martin and Coyote Valley as well. The schools have been awarded the National Blue Ribbon Schools, California Distinguished Schools, and California Gold Ribbon Schools. There are three high schools, multiple academies, health science academies, non-sectarian schools, private schools.

Parks & Recreation

Morgan Hill has a vibrant Parks and Recreation department with multiple neighborhood parks, sports fields, camps, community activities, trails and creeks. It operates the Centennial Recreation Center, The Aquatic Center, Outdoor Sports Center, the Community & Cultural Center, and recreational programs year-round.

This is San Jose's suburb was previously an agricultural community. This agricultural community and was incorporated back in 1906. However, growth really accelerated since about 2003 when 10 miles of highway 101 between Highway 85 and San Jose was expanded to eight lanes.

The Morgan Hill Caltrain station is the side of the original Southern Pacific Huntington Station established back in 1898. Restaurants at the granary such as Odeum restaurant and Trail Dust barbecue are just a few of our favorites.
